On June 15th the West Midlands TravelWise Group launched an all new website for everyone in the region.
It brings together TravelWise information for the metropolitan area plus the surrounding towns and shire counties under one umbrella.
The website is an easy-to-navigate reference tool for information on TravelWise methods of transport and contacts operating in your area.
The region page has links to journey planning websites such as Walk It and Transport Direct plus news about this year’s TravelWise Campaign. There’s also a link to Liftshare’s car cost calculator.
Each district has its own page with contact details for workplace and school travel planning plus information about walking, cycling, public transport and car sharing. In addition, the district pages have links to the specialist TravelWise websites for travelling to Community, Residential, School and Company destinations.
